10 days Camino de Santiago (Camino del norte) – Preparations

Wow, this was a rather spontaneous decision! 3 weeks ago I had no idea I would be going to Spain tomorrow to walk 150 km all by myself -and here I am all packed up and ready to go.

Am I worried? Oh yeah! Especially as I have heard that it is still low season and there are hardly any people on the trail. Additionally, the weather forecast looks… uhm…. well, so-so and my Spanish is.. uhm.. pretty much non-existent.

Will I go anyway? Hell yes! I always wanted to do this and I could do with some reflection, calm and peace before starting my next adventure.

Additionally, it is a perfect way to leave my comfort zone and try out something new, something different. Only by leaving your comfort zone you are able to discover completely different worlds around you. And maybe the zone outside your comfort zone is even more comfortable?

Let’s find out… 🙂

‘If you leave your comfort zone, the zone outside your comfort zone may be more comfortable’, I love that!
